This is not a tutorial, just a workaround for some bugs in the below tutorials that I have followed, this article also assumes that you know what Subversion and Tortoise are.
Step 1. Install subversion. This link was very helpful with the initial setup. Downloads: I installed this svn-1.4.6-setup.exe version of subversion then followed the instructions (except for the folder name of the repository, it cannot have any spaces in the name! mucho importanto! And when it asks you to modify svnserve.conf make sure there are no leading spaces before each of the items)
Step 2. Wrapper Object. The wrapper link does not work in the above tutorial so i went searching and found this link followed the instructions on that page and all is working.
Step 3. Install tortoise I am using version 1.4.7 which works with subversion 1.4.6
